Bandcamp is really great, and I'd use it for the podcast if they allowed uploads of lossy formats. I know they strive for quality and I'm 100% in line with that, but it'd be cool if they had an option to choose "lossy upload" and only allow downloads in the format/quality it was uploaded in.

Last I checked bandcamp only allows 200 downloads per month.   I haven't logged in in a long time and I'm sure I am not overtreading but that seems to be something that would cause people to choose soundcloud instead. 

I personally have a problem with selling something that cannot be given to someone as a gift, as far as my recordings and formats go, but at least you can design the layout and have a creative extension outside of simple files.
