ZSS KLANDESTINE AKTION 20/4/2016
ZSS private live set recorded with a very small audience. The set shows a far more nasty sonic approach. It was not intended to be recorded at all,and the only recording equipment on hand was an extremely primitive tape deck,hence the 'necro' sound quality.
Compared to the very much 'dead' vocal style seen before on previous ZSS recordings, here we hear a far more savage and manic approach,goaded on and by the small but rowdy audience present.
Two tracks were performed, both cover versions / interpretations. A version of 'After Death' originally by Nihilistics, and 'Happy Hanukaust' by Vaginal Jesus.
In terms of the material presented and the 'quality' of the recording, this is more in line with very rough early Con-Dom recordings,Sutcliffe Jügend, and similar projects such as XE. It differs greatly from the recorded / studio approach ZSS usually takes, but here was an attempt to capture the immediacy of the moment.
