Forum software is updated to latest version to keep it secure and smoothly running. If you see some sort of bugs, report to me via PM...

It's possible some sort of new registering system is installed for future. Currently it is like 300 useless spam "members" trying to get in daily. It's frustrating task to keep deleting names and try to see who should be approved and who not.

forum was down for a while. Malfunction in optic wires.. but fixed.  In case of sudden black outs, just try again few hours later. I pay the bills and keep the sites updated on safety issues, so most likely it's temp problems such a below, which are being fixed already when you notice malfunction.

Not really updated, but usual cleaning operations. All forum data is up-to-date. All members who have not logged in for 1 year are deleted. If your account has been deleted, don't be offended. Just register again if you want to be used. Messages can be read without being a member. But being member allows you to use useful functions such as search.

Now in December 2013 forum has 800 registered users. 300 of them visit forum weekly and rest frequently. Besides that, visits of unregistered users is significantly higher.

Some updates you don't really need to know, but...
-All recent updates are patched into forum software, so it's safe again. Bills have been paid for year forward.
-All members who have not logged in within 1 year, has been deleted. If you are casual reader, who used to have ID, but no longer have, it may be that you have not logged in within 365 days, and therefore account no longer exists. Solution: just create new one.
As result there is still 900+ members, which more than 300 log in every week, many every day. Besides that plenty of people viewing without being member.

Preview doesn't always work, at least on all browsers.
I have been told this has affected other forums too, but there is no new forum software updates I can see that would correct this. So if your browser doesn't let to use preview, just post it, read it and edit if necessary.

At least on my computer and my browsers, it does work. So it may be also up to some new settings on browsers.

Server was down since last night. Electric problem broke some hardware, but it appears that forum is up-to-date and works just fine. If any anomalities, lets see what can be done about it.
But like before: If problems happen, they are temporary. Back up copies are being made of forum and bills are paid, so this place stays up!

Actually, this should be corrected now. Today forum was updated and latest patch should have fixed bug that was previewing function.

Apologies if this isn't the proper thread to use...

Is anyone else having problems with the search function?  If you use the box at the top of the standard page, I often don't get any results.  If I click on the advance search and enter the same term, I then find all the hits.  No additional information or ticks.  My most recent example was with "Nehil".  Got nothing, and then when I went into advanced and search for "Nehil", all the corresponding posts are found, like normal.
