I love how the band name is misspelled two different ways in both the title of the video and in your post.

But yeah, good band. Killer live. That group of people out in Kamloops are constantly churning out new and quality bands that aren't necessarily anything I normally listen to but they are dedicated to doing it the best they can, which is what counts.

Limp wrist in heavy rotation, didn't get the chance to listen their 2017 album before and love it.

Been bouncing back and forth between D-beat and Discharge worship ala the likes of Bombraid and Recharge and early grind ala Napalm Death and Extreme Noise Terror.  I didn't intend to get stuck on CD1 of Grind Madness at the BBC: The Earache Peel Sessions, but I did.  The only things I'd heard from these two bands for a long time were a rehearsal tape (not sure which one) and promo video from ExNxTX (probably From One Extreme to Another).  Then I picked up the Harmony Corruption/Mentally Murdered CD and worked backwards.  That super poorly dubbed rehearsal caused me to be a late bloomer with Napalm Death.  Still feel Harmony Corruption is warped and great and kind of screws with how I hear everything else from them.

Somewhere in there I threw in Ääritila and Slang.

Ääritila - ...Ja Kaikki Kuitenkin Päättyy Kuolemaan! 2003.  Swedish/Finnish HC.  UNDERRATED and HIGHLY recommended.  Burley bass.  Not as GBH-inspired as the second album.  Both albums are great.  Get 'em both.

Slang - Devastation in the Void 2014 - I say this every time I listen to Slang, so I'm guessing I've posted this in the past, but I can't figure out my relationship with this band.  I think of them.  I think to listen to them.  I do, and then I get confused between the details and the result.  It should be far better than it is, but it is good...or they're good...or something.  Heavy Japanese HC that I greatly desire, but it doesn't quite satisfy here and there.  Still recommended.

Beyond Description...

My impression from others is that they're considered 2nd class Japanese HC citizens.  I can see that, but I like them; even some of their more recent, anemic thrash albums.  More Power to Your Elbow is a damn fine 7" and their best.  The BD/Detestation 10" is maybe my second favorite.  Then the Calm Loving Life 3"CD.  They're unique.  Thrashy.  Crossoverish.  Japanese HCish.  I lost track after their Crimes Against Humanity album.

This made me laugh.

Yeah, definitely not given a fair shake by many. Definitely lots to be had for Deathside/'Burning Spirits' heads. Falls a little flat for me, but certainly enjoyable--especially having not heard or thought them for about 10 or 12 years [Listening to Calm Loving Life and Acts of Sheer Madness right now. Great drums on CLL!]

I've actually seen a lot of 'under-the-radar' hits of my teens mentioned here recently [Like Recharge! ] Mostly forgettable stuff, but not given a fair shake at all most of the time.

Yes.  Their finest signature is a snappy, raw, ringing, quintessential hardcore snare.

Meant to 2nd this.  One of my favorite Swedish, crusty vocals of all time.  With good reason, the Battle of Opinions 7" is usually the recommendation, but they smoked their full length Killing the Life too.  The CD has both the LP and 7".  Celebrate their entire discography.  Unsung, underrated, and with highest recommendations.

brutalist_tapes, if you're still looking...

Another Finnish recommendation is Valvontakomissio.  I feel they were the better on the split LP with No Security, and their CD-only album is great as well.

For Swedish, I was reminded of how good Tolshock is.  Ex-members of some greats.   https://www.discogs.com/artist/831696-Tolshock

Slaganfall...Riffs and heaviness that remind me of Hiatus. Catchiness that reminds me of that rare breed of Swedish HC that drops into the pocket and grooves. And best of all are the awesome vocals that remind me of Mandy of Health Hazard (not quite that great, but still really damn good).

Counterblast...Balance of Pain is where the trend of 90's symphonic black metal best met the call of Swedish crusters.  The Prospects 7" too.  They then went the way of Neurosis with the next album, Impassivity.  I'm not your biggest Neurosis fan, but Impassivity strikes me as one of the best of that type.  The 2LP version has some key comp tracks on side D.  They then went more and more in that direction and pretty much lost me.

Back when your knowledge could be a mile wide and a mile deep, and you still wouldn't have the full grasp of things.  Now, it seems like you can cover the bases with a mile wide and an inch deep...or that's just me being senior.

Not so much a fan of their records from what i remember - but killing live !

Not much in the mood for punk these days, but RAC really hits the spot for upbeat music (fond of the slower stuff as well). Great for driving around town too. Been spending a lot of time with these the past couple weeks. Picked up the LP reissue of Hell Seger recently, really well done - looks and sounds nice.
