NEW:

Aaron Dilloway – Tractor Cuts
C46 Cassette (R&L036)
Edition of 100
<$8.00 (USA) / $10.00 (World)>

Tape loop deviant, 8 track delinquent...Aaron Dilloway is no doubt the master of the edit.  Wolf Eyes founder who's solo endeavors have ventured in the dubbed analog void delivers his new cassette of rural joust.   Using recordings from Dilloway's grandfather's tractor, which were later edited together for use in Twig Harper's 'SoundBed' installation in 2011, these cuts represent a startling collection of bouncy noise drag and farmland machinery anarchy.

Leif Elggren – Sleepwalking
C30 Cassette (R&L035)
Edition of 100
<$8.00 (USA) / $10.00 (World)>

Swedish artist Leif Elggren has a monumental list of creative accomplishments in both the visual art world as well as a recording artist.  His first recorded piece, Cu, from 1982 firmly established Elggren as a archivist of his own work using recorded source material and field recording techniques.  For his newest cassette lucidly entitled Sleepwalking, Elggren taped notation of his recent performance which was debuted at the Sleep Disorders exhibition in NYC during the Summer of 2012. Listen in to full report of what happened after the artist's eyelids have closed and the parallel universe unfolded.

Death Houses – ...All But The Crimson Light Remained
C10 Cassette (R&L038)
Edition of 25
<$8.00 (USA) / $10.00 (World)>

Painful, seducing feedback noise culled from Ryan Martin (York Factory Complaint / DeTrop/ Hanel Koeck).  Lashing electronics, blarring distortion that muddy down into a looping industrial death trap. Short and to the point, no need for excuses.

AVAILABLE:

Âmes Sanglantes – Have You Come Here to Torment Us Before the Time?
C20 Cassette (R&L037)
Edition of 99
<$8.00 (USA) / $10.00 (World)>

Biblical prophecy from the hands of Pierre-Marc Tremblay (Akitsa / Contrepoison) under the permissions of Âmes Sanglantes, prayer music for the pious unsought.  Noise swatch synthesizer omens easing steadily into a electronic benediction.  Over the past 14 years, this project has released some of its most dissent sounds on labels such as Hospital Productions, Troniks & Tour De Garde. Now focusing on a classical theme of disparate redemption and revelation, using the fatality of analog electronics to provide the hammer for the coffin's nails.

Hidden Tooth – July 18, 2012
3" CDr (R&L027)
Edition of 52
<$4.00 (USA) / $5.00 (World)>

Noise dirge from the collaborative efforts of Chris Brokaw (Codeine / Come) and David Michael Curry (Willard Grant Conspiracy).  Slow feedback slumping into guitar and viola squelches, equaling a funeral song for the recently deceased.  Showing a level of constraint, though slapping their heavy hand of amplitude.

Future Blondes - Live @ Libertine Social Club 7/9/12
3" CDr (R&L032)
Edition of 40
<$4.00 (USA) / $5.00 (World)>

Have the gods gone mad? Future Blondes are hosting the acid orgy and no one got invited!!!  Recently releasing their debut full length LP entitled 'Feather 17′ on Blind Prophet, Domokos and his band of psychojackers have been hitting the blacktop playing a variety of shows, all of which have fabricated the wormhole of space time into a wigwam of flip-trip-rhythm and noise-pistol action.  This CDr documents a live recording during the maelstrom at the Libertine Social Club in July 2012, thus setting back civilization 100 years! Not for the easy listening but definitely for anyone easy.

Letha Rodman Melchior / Tretetam – Moon Mountain
C30 Cassette (R&L029)
Edition of 75
<$8.00 (USA) / $10.00 (World)>

Letha Rodman Melchior is a musician beyond any standard comparison, superbly "breaking the mold" would be a criminal understatement.  Being active in the garage & experimental scenes for the better part of the past 20 years, her name is a common imprint in a wide array of genres.  Letha's Tretatam moniker has flourished as a highlight on the revered Finnish label Ikuisuus and her guitar/vocals added to the powerhouse rock group Ruby Falls outshines most attempts at alternative sounds that one could imagine. Most musicians only dream of such a resume, but Letha does not stop there.  Her most recent sound collage recordings are some of her finest work to date.  Somewhere lodged between a frantic penny opera, sublime parlor entertainment and an unmade Hitchcock soundtrack , Letha pulls out everything in her arsenal to combine her field recordings, instrumentation and lively ideas to fill up this wonderful release.  Follow Letha's recent battles and triumphs on her blog, http://lethashappyhospitalfuntime.blogspot.com/

Chris Brokaw – Tidal Mud
C46 Cassette (R&L031)
Edition of 100
<$8.00 (USA) / $10.00 (World)>

Best known for his work in bands like Codeine, The New Year, Come, The Pullman, Consonant, Brokaw/Farina Duo, and others, Chris Brokaw has been a musical mainstay in the underground / alternative post-rock scene for over 25 years. This latest release shows Brokaw in a far more experimental light, shedding his familiar structures and going head first into the unknown. Originally released in a private edition of 22 copies, this cassette reissues his solo organ drone works that encompass his non-linear use of keyboard composition and a withdrawn sound of vibraphone, guitar and rain. Perfection in solitude.

Hoor-paar-Kraat – In Your Absence
C20 Cassette (R&L030)
Edition of 75
<$8.00 (USA) / $10.00 (World)>

Anthony Mangicapra returns to the Robert & Leopold roster with another formless device as Hoor-paar-kraat. This time around, HPK relents on a palette of abstract themes, using his loss as a vehicle for submissive expressionism. Uncovered acoustics bring this release to life, employing stringed loops and unknown ideas familiar with his previous work, yet In Your Absence is far more personal than we are aware. A disjointed memorial to someone left behind. Artwork by Richard Vergez.

DeTrop – Con Rit
C30 Cassette (R&L028)
Edition of 100
<$8.00 (USA) / $10.00 (World)>

Early modular madness culled from their various live rehearsal tapes from the infancy of DeTrop. Strung together in the Spring of 2011 featuring members of York Factory Complaint & Ideal Forms, DeTrop has persistently kept its aesthetics alive while valuing the constant idea of evolution. From these tapes, you can hear the members wistfully piecing together their chops, tweaking their values and solidifying their domain, whether at sea or on land.

Black Leather Jesus – Even Deeper
C20 Cassette (R&L026)
Edition of 100
<$8.00 (USA) / $10.00 (World)>

Punishment & sex in it's least refined, the calling card for Black Leather Jesus and the nightmare they've left behind over the past 23 years. Formulated by Richard Ramirez (Werewolf Jerusalem), this was one Ramirez's earliest concepts and foray into the collaborative "band" idea. Ramirez being the sole core member, Black Leather Jesus has had dozen of members phasing in and out of its ranks, always keeping the perverse steady had of autoerotic execution. Steady attacks of harsh noise, charging forward with each member's contribution being piled on top of the last in a frenzied orgy of bondage electronics. Lesson learned, over and over.

Rust Worship – Optimistic
C40 Cassette (R&L023)
Edition of 70
<8.00 (USA) / $10.00 (World)>

Backwards musique mixed up in a noise car crash, cut up strands of sound are the only things Rust Worship can communicate with. Paul Haney's solo performances resemble something mysterious and powerful, typical involvement gets brushed aside for pure immersion. Previous releases on Haney's own Obsolete Units label as well as 905 Tapes & Tape Drift resemble Rust Worship as a marksman for sound and energy. This release catalogs 3 unique and diverse live sets by Rust Worship, first being a performance at the infamous Redlight District in far Rockaway, NY. Backend shows two performances in Ridgewood, NY included a special set from the Ende Tymes Festival in Ridgewood, NY.

Jazkamer – Failed State Of Mind
C30 Cassette (R&L019)
Edition of 100
<8.00 (USA) / $10.00 (World)>

Over the past decade, Norwegian improvisers Lasse Marhaug and John Hegre has combined their efforts within the mainframe of Jazkamer, each one's participation equally jarring and affectionate to the designated listener. Stacks of releases have documented this infamous collaboration as it set course through noise, power electronics, improvised acoustics and free form sound, culling their strengths and weakness to make some of the most memorable experimental albums to date. This exclusive tape edit reworks the previous issue of the album Failed State Of Mind, which was released on CD with selective sequence on Marhaug's own Pica Disk imprint in 2010. Re-sequenced and assembled by Lasse Marhaug into an unique analog interpretation of this modern classic.

Distributed Titles

York Factory Complaint – Punctually, He Arrived
Acid Casualty Productions (ACP.11) / Cassette
<$7.00 US / $9.00 World>

Recently released early works by the band in it's original line-up consisting of Michael Berdan and Ryan Martin recorded in the summer months of 2009.  Lonely, desperate sounds of industrial noise, shrilled through chaos and neglect. Edition of 100.

York Factory Complaint – s/t
Hanson Records (HN232) / Cassette
<$7.00 US / $9.00 World>

Considered to be the band's first album attempt, the recordings capture the band's first foray as a four piece consisting of Michael Berdan, Ryan Martin, Theresa Smith and Michael Yaniro.  Overwhelmingly abrasive, this self titled album pieces together YFC at it most nihilistic standpoint.  Harsh, abusive sound for the apocalyptic mind.  Record and mixed by Anthony Mangicapra.

York Factory Complaint – Remorse of Conscience
House of Alchemy (#039) / Cassette
<$7.00 US / $9.00 World>

Last known recordings to be released by the original 2 piece line up.  Wall of noise brutality conjuring up the sounds of a Broken Flag era that has been long since forgotten.  As the House of Alchemy label puts it, "The sound of a concussion looped out indefinitely. Thug music, junkyard thugs. Squealing feedback loops, squalls of medicated clang. It's all here. It's going to be an all-night kind of thing. You are in the wrong neighborhood. "

York Factory Complaint – Origins of Sabir
Obsolete Units (OU37) / Cassette
<$7.00 US / $9.00 World>

Origins Of Sabir follows releases on Hanson Records, House Of Alchemy and Robert & Leopold and an infamous live collaboration with the legendary Genesis P-Orridge, with Sabir finding the solidified foursome pushing their discord to the brink; feedback blankets the pandemonium while all manner of electronics and guitars are defiled in the ensuing disorder. Both sides inhibit shades of what an evasive collaboration between Hijokaidan and early-period Ramleh might have culminated in. Ugly, cruel, and marvelous. Pro-dubbed/pro-printed edition of 100.

Mama Baer – Perverted People Girl Fuckers
House of Alchemy (#053) / CDr album
<$9.00 Us / $11.00 World>

Freakishly unclassifiable outsider sound poetry by Germany's own bizarre export (the marital other half of Kommissar Hjuler).  Words can't describe this kind of schizophrenia..." Caterwauling, bizarre, both bombastic and occasionally subdued. Inner monologues of torment and delight, but outer. A solo presentation of volumes of sound poetry presented simultaneously"  Packaging / artwork by Ryan Martin (York Factory Complaint / DeTrop). Edition of 123.

Adel Souto & Kenny Millions – 13 Throwaways
Feast of Hate & Fear Label / Glass bottle w/ cassette tape reel & poem cards
