from NATE TANDY (DIAPHRAGMATIC, luke's brother)
‎Luke Tandy was in a bad accident last night at a show. He fainted during a set and fell face forward, landing on his face, receiving damage to his mouth, jaw, and teeth. The right side of his jaw is dislocated, both sides of it broken, his chin and mandible possibly fractured. He is doing okay but will need extensive surgery sometime tommorow to set his jaw, so I will continue to update everyone on his condition. He is surrounded by loved ones but is in pain, so we appreciate his privacy. What I want to do is ask to come together to come up with some ideas and suggestions on how to help out. He'll be on a liquid diet for a while so any help with that would be great; also some of us at the show were talking about ideas for a fundraising benefit for Luke's surgery bills, possibly a show or auction, etc. I'm asking for and open to any suggestions anyone may have. Let's come together for Luke and do what we can for my brother who is a very well-loved and special person to so many people.luke donates much time and energy to the noise community, especially in his home town in dayton, oh. he often totes his awesome PA to shows, even when he's not playing, to provide quality sound for touring acts and locals in many DIY spots around town and beyond. both nate and luke have been a huge help and an inspiration to many of us.

ALL PROCEEDS minus shipping will be donated straight to luke's family for medical bills when the auction is over. i will post the URL here once i gather what i am going to put in the auction and set it up through ebay.
