Posh Isolation

THREE NEW RELEASES

_____________________________

CHRISTIAN STADSGAARD "The Source of Disintegration" LP
All infrastructure, all foundations, have a crack, a breaking point, a
dead end, a source of disintegration.
This is the sound of collapse. Cold broken drone vanishing into
stagnancy, sonic representations of the endless lifeless, the uncured,
the cursed. An ocean of frequencies for the drowning, a meditation of
endings.

HVIDE SEJL "Nothing Good Ever Came From Waiting" c18
Hvide Sejl is heavy droned industrial. Deep buried rythms that crawl
onto you and stick.  The release presents two longer tracks of slow
drug dazed bass driven violence. The kind of violence that make you
want to stay around to see what exactly happens when it's all over. Of
course nothing happens, everybody loose, nothing good ever came from
waiting.

Dedikeret til Elias B.

SHOOTING GALLERY – CLO GOELACH "Distance" c20
Distance is a gathering of forces from two different nations and two
quite different projects.
The result is a devastating mix of drowning industrial, thick layers
of ton heavy drones and deep buried vocals. The sound differs from
what has been seen from both projects earlier, in that way it's a
perfect mix, it is obvious that this could not have been done by one
of the projects alone.
The tape consists of two tracks both entitled Distance.
Side A. was recorded live in Copenhagen in the beginning of 2010.
Side B. is a mail-collaboration, made just a couple of weeks later

I am surprised that not one person has said anything here. Posh Isolation is an amazing label churning out good Noise and PE as well as some dirty, fucked up Black Metal. The packaging is superb, as is the art. I highly suggest that you guys buy this up before they sell out, especially the Shooting Gallery / Clo Goelach split. As most know, Clo is a strong force of "post-mortum PE" which dabbles with older and stronger American sounds. I've always compared it to older Deathpile (between 1996 and 1997, Gashbutcher, etc) meets Bizarre Uproar. Then you have Shooting Gallery which features the member of Ashley C. Not a ton of movement through-out most of the work so if you are into stuff like Halflings or Sharpwaist you may not be into it. It is, for the most part, slowly building drones cascading through the speakers until some abrupt noise takes it under. I really hate to say this but Posh is taking over Hospital, slowly, quality not quantity.

I would suggest for the new comer, first and foremost, Damien Dubrovnik - Songs For Loviatar. What he does is take loops and droning sounds then, after some time (most songs last 10 minutes) vocals become apparent in a raspy Black Metal voice. Song 3 is my favorite with a nice clashing yet ingenious drum that plays along the track through-out. Great everything.

Damien Dubrovnik - Songs For Loviatar

I listened to this LP at Dan's place recently and while the music itself was quite pleasant, I think the vocals destroyed the atmosphere totally. Then again, i've never been into black metal style vocals in experimental music.

Ashley Choke

I would recommend VA - Anythings Better tape comp for anybody wanting to get to know PI. Styles varies from harsh PE/Filth (Ashley C/LR) to cold Industrial/Drone (Braces/Tufthunter/Christian Stadsgaard/DD) to plain wierdness (Rare Blood/Jonas F)

People of this board would maybe find most interest in

Ashley Choke/Semi Detached Spankers - As White As They Cum
Pisswhipp/LR - Portraits Of Prey
and new tape by newborn Copenhagen PE powerhouse Caucasian Colony

All these releases are in the classic filthy tradition. Wish I could post pictures(Especially of the Pisswhipp/LR tape) But i own no digicam
