'Seen through a lens, observed, captured and processed. Surveillance as contemporary instrument of control or society under vigilance?'

Surveillance (pron.: /sərˈveɪ.əns/ or /sərˈveɪləns/) is the monitoring of the behaviour, activities, or other changing information, usually of people for the purpose of influencing, managing, directing, or protecting. Surveillance is therefore an ambiguous practice, sometimes creating positive effects, at other times negative. It is sometimes done in a surreptitious manner. It most usually involves observation of individuals or groups by government organizations (though there are some exceptions, such as disease surveillance, which monitors the progress of a disease in a community without for that matter directly observing or monitoring individuals).

Limited to 150 copies in a jewelcase + 8 page booklet. Artwork by Nullvoid. Mastered by Phil Julian @ Cheapmachines.

I can really recommend this release!

Unique experimental noise work with subtle throbbing pulses, obscure repetitive voice samples and high frequency drone subtly infiltrating into the mind – in a really sneaky way, just as "Überwachungs"(surveillance)-music has to be : ) ... really coherent in its execution and beautifully designed cover and booklet by Thomas / Trepaneringsritualen.

Super interested!

My project just released a tape called "watchful" and will be releasing a 7"er "watching".

Both are themed after surveillance as well!
