Speaking of which, I'm kind of curious about the option of creating lathe cuts at home... Is it really worthwhile nowadays? Impossible to track down good cutting devices etc? Are they the size or a car or something? Anyone got experience?

Max (Markus ?) of Steinklang has the reputation of being a "Schlamper" (= a bit of a messy). I am not sure about that, that´s why I ask, if someone has ever worked with him ...

Mobineko is a risk. They don`t care really about the printing quality. I have recently heard bad stories of fucked up booklets for Freak Animal and Cipher Productions ...

it seems that every Plant is a Risk, Heard actualy from all Plants good and bad Stories. Same with CD Printing. I actually print a CD now at Mobineko, i can tell about it, when i got them.

Additiv media went smoothy with a 300x LP Press, no Complains about it. Would use them again.
Foonvinyl i will ask a Friend, he used them already. Audio.CD i have no Infos about the Quality, but some People will have these new lim. LPs from Steinklang. Mabe asking Cold Spring where they press their Small run Lps?

Someone should have the plant in Mexico press something up. It'd be awesome if they were much higher quality than anywhere else but no one has taken the chance on them.

HongKongGoolagong

Had an LP pressed (via broker deal) at the infamous cheapo GZ in Czech this year and was shocked how well it went and how good it sounds - had some stinkers from there in the past. I think it helps to master very carefully then request flat transfer with no EQing and get a TP too.

RAND-Muzik of Leipzig made a stunning quality limited to 100 LP for me a few years ago with real care taken in the cut, but they were relatively expensive.

HOGRA

I use United Record Pressing.
Reasonable prices and probably the best vinyl work done here in the states.

Urban Noise

Mobineko, so far, is the best company I've used.
And, they're the only (speaking on smaller companies anyway...) factory that actually shows some care on the work they do.
