Why would you want to put on a silent record? Why not just have silence w/out the bother of turning on the stereo?! Y'know, if I want a 'silent listen', I just don't turn on the stereo! Or, you could just get a normal record, and turn the volume right down!

And, one of those 6" Victor record blanks with nothing on it for a nice silent listen.

Ha, it doesn't get more hipster than that! I don't know whether to praise or despise the manufacturer for putting such crap out. How much does one pay for a nice silent listen?
