I made order from guy from UK, it was big enough that he included some freebies. Usually when I get unwanted cd's, it can be hopeless for them to get into rotation. This was just about to suffer the same thing. I just threw it to hands of friend at my shop and asked if he knows anything about it. Didn't know. I was about to simply leave to shop shelves to maybe find better home in future. But while I was delivering the mail, this CD had ended up in cd player, and when I returned, I was welcomed by strange experimental drones, surreal audio textures and very relaxing, but pleasant atmosphere.
I did like the surreal cover in first place, but almost ended up giving this away without even attempt to hear it.
Now, couple times listened, and it is back as part of my collection. I did some research and notice that one of guys is doing something with Nurse With Wound member. CD varies quite a lot. Even is at times it feels like this the modern soft edge of drone & the subtle melodic passages and kind of tidyness of overall sound,.. seeing the stupid apple logos on their live set ups with lap-tops.... and in the other hand, with all the negative attributes I try to come up with, I just feel this is great. Just something to put on stereos and listen to. On their myspace site, only "Silvercoin" is from new album. And it isn't best song of the disc, due nearly new-age wibes. But it might show some progression of the past when you give listen to the other songs.
With Cargo as distributor and kind of "artsy" approch, disc probably never makes it to the noise distributors list (since it ain't noise), but perhaps worth to check out.

Great band.  I have "Pilgrim: New World Homestead" and "Black Hill: Midnight At The Blighted Star."  I haven't heard the first album from 2001.  Their newest one, "Black Hill," is definitely the better of the two.  Definitely worth checking out.  It's like early NWW, except done in hi-fi.

Played this few times in my shop during latest noise gig "hang around time". Reminded me how pleasant album it is! And how I have never heard anyone (except Cathartic Process above) mention it..

Check some samples without the hopeless myspace...
