You could try the old Slaughter Productions compilations, e.g. Death Odors 1 to 3, From Sickness To Death etc.

If you like early Runes Order then you're likely to enjoy at least some groups on there.

Well, I don't think Runes Order goes that well with most of Slaughter stuff?
It's more of occult themes soundtrack music meets "kraut" type of Tangerine Dream, Faust, K. Schulz...

Perhaps one could mention other Italians of direction not that far... SIGILLUM S ?!

I think most of his job is melodic synth oriented so I would go for klaus schultz hif-time... Although with different style/sounds , some aimilar atmospheres in early bad sector (ampos) who I suggest anyway...

I checked out Ain Soph's 92 album, more in a folk vein but I still like it. I downloaded one of the later Runes Order albums off Amazon by accident, a bit techno-y but it might grow on me, along with the already awesome Odisseum

Also Sigillum S was a great recommendation, I found their bandcamp and got Boudoir Philosophy and Studs And Divinity, both excellent, more industrial than Ain Soph or Runes Order from a purist standpoint, although that first Ain Soph recording was quite unsettling.

if you like the "kraut" side of Runes Order, like Tangerine Dream / K. Schulz, you could try Lyke Wake "The Long last dream", it has been just reissued by Final Muzik. Tasty synth drones.

I recently bought a copy of https://www.discogs.com/release/1309533-Runes-Order-Quadridimensional-Noisescapes , first edition, was also released by Slaughter later, amazing stuff ! And added this https://www.discogs.com/release/1623508-Syntagma-M-Mysta-N-Gam as order filler. Turns out it's quite good, -my only complain is the excessive use of repetitive sample at first track- , and goes well with that Runes Order.
