Statement from the band:
"Five songs of pure obscurity and darkness are delivered from the hearts filled of true devotion. Uncompromising exploration through the hostile warfields of mans inner nature is the thing here. This is our attempt to expand the limits of our conscious reality, to see clearly through all ostensiblies of our cosmic universe, to the pure essence of All, the eternal Black Flame.

As we don´t consider ourself as band in manner people too often want to look at it, there will be no any written history for Serpentfyre, nor there will be any conceited biographies nor any other artificial things pulling your focus out of things we want to deal with: the absolute reality.

Serpentfyre plays traditional black metal with influences taken from varying forms of its rich heritage, sometimes focusing more on aggression, barbarism and hatred, sometimes again more on atmosphere and more premeditated forms of worship, but moreover: our aim is to bring forth the mysteries of our multifaced redeemer to people. Let the Serpent arise."

A-side holds a total of fifteen minutes of fierce power electronics and destructive harsh noise delivered by Unclean, Whiteswan, and Edge Of Decay. Side B holds one 15-minute song of more  controlled and even hypnotic harsh noise by Kritikal Overload.

A fifty-minute glorification of death, delivered in the form of horror & death ambient of the organic, corrosive, ritualistic and even psychedelic kind. Unlike our earlier offerings, this one will be presented as a digipak CD, limited to 100 copies. The official release date will be 25/04/14 - the next friday - and the CD's price will be 12 euros.

This tape features two 30-minute collaborative sets: ritualistic ambience and Eastern instrumentation on the A-side, and merciless dark ambient from abandoned catacombs on side B. Acts of worship dedicated to merciless spiritual energies. Pro-tape.

Zoomonk - Black Lake / Apathy
Zoomonk is a Finnish one-man band that creates experimental post punk. The A-side features an EP-length set with some guest musicians, whereas side B is a pure solo effort. About 30 minutes of dark atmospheres delivered via various musical means. Pro-tape.

Arcane Pyres in the words of Utu Lautturi:
"Arcane Pyres is a split release featuring two collaborative projects, both initiated by Finnish experimental artist Utu Lautturi.

On side A Utu Lautturi and his fellow woodsman 45:KO conjure a set of images depicting forgotten Eastern mythology. Inspired by the eccentric Aghoris of India, created as an offering to Kali Ma, these soundscapes are rituals of mystical worship. At times gleaming with heightened spiritual energy yet mostly forcing an inward vision. There is no promise of an easy journey through fire, bone and ash.

Side B drags deep into archaic catacombs of brooding darkness. There is little light of salvation in the RIIPII series produced by English master of desolation Faces Of Bélmez and Utu Lautturi. However, even foreboding underground pools of thick blackness feel enticing in their eerie glow when forever lost in a damp haze. In time strange scraping noises fill our heads. Too late we realize we are only being served as food for arcane pyres."

Caligari Records has apparently sold out their bunch of Serpentfyre-tapes already, but plans for further distribution in the States will be made if there's demand.

En muista, olenko edes kuullut Zoomonkia Aiemmin, vaikka se on vähintään kymmenen vuotta julkaissut musiikkia. Jonkinlaista kokeellista elektromusiikkia tämä on. Yhden miehen bändi yleensä, mutta tämän kasetin a-puolella mukana häärää myös muita musisoijia. Tunnelmat vaihtuvat helposti kuunneltavasta poppailusta ja eteerisestä ambientista epämääräiseen huuruiluun ja ihan huvin vuoksi heitetään kuulijan kiusaksi väliin Human Leaguen Don't You Want Men bassokuviotakin. Taiteellista? Jos niin ihan välttämättä haluaa sanoa, mutta se paljastaa enemmän kuulijasta kuin Zoomonkista. Itse sanoisin tätä erittäin tunnelmalliseksi musiikiksi. Vaikka tätä kuuntelee kotioloissa, olohuoneessaan, alkaa mieli kulkea omia reittejään ja on hetken päästä hämyisissä, tiiliseinäisissä kellarikammioissa, lepattavien soihtujen valoissa ja varjoissa.
