I manufactured those boxes locally and then found no use to them. Sold some to F&V for that tape. Still got HUNDREDS of those boxes in basement... Used few for V/A "Gender with..." tape special edition.
That snuff double tape was re-issued already on longer one tape edition.

QuoteI had all of the SHF tapes. I seem to recall a S&Q tape with a bondage Barbie Doll

They also had one one Bandaged Hand with a 'used' condom, didn't they?

Spermathlon. I gave almost all of my Smell & Quim special packages to Russian uberfan Monopolka, but still kept my copy of 'Cosmic Bondage'.

Also worth a mention is the special edition of Smell & Quim/Merzbow "Seven Inches Inside Vagina" 7" which came tied to a grotesque plastic mould of female genitalia with apparently real pubic hair attached. The split with Macronympha from those days came with a profusely illustrated booklet of sex changes, quite startling to see in pre-internet days.

FreakAnimalFinland

Yeah. Due quite easy porn supply over here, S&Q/Macro 7" didn't look that mind boggling, but was good. It's good reminder of times when most of shemales looked BRUTAL. These days with advanced surgeries and neat make up... barely differences, but in times of "men with tits" with little lipstick.. aarrgh! True sleaze.

What brings me on topic of very limited (12) Forza Albino double tape:

Special edition of The Rita / Mania split, where additional inserts, CDR package in cover decorated by shooting with shotgun.

Early Hospital Productions compilation with silkscreened bag, large folded color insert and pair of "medical tools"

Not the first or last time when couple of bolts keep wire mesh envelope over a release. Neat nevertheless.

Early Prurient special editions. Tape package in something what looks like melting plastic garbage?!? Light weight, yet oversized and unpractical.

A few of my own bizarre packaging/smell bombs:

Mutant Love/Coco & Fiend Friend - "Fuck" C6
Came with a smashed and signed boiled egg, limited to 6 copies if I'm not mistaken.

Splinter Vs Stalin - "Pasta Electronics II" CDr
Housed in a cardboard pasta box, filled with cooked food and rubbish - everything was completely rotten and moldy by the time people got it in their mailbox.

Splinter Vs Stalin - "Fantasy '92" c40
With melted vinyl "sculptures"

I can't find the images now but I released a Frozen Corpse tape that came with a chicken foot, at least one Fecalove tape that came with a bunch of my pubic hair, a Fecalove / Ekunhaashaashtack split 3" CDr that came with a piece of cooked beef, and a Coco & Fiend Friend-labeled bag simply filled with (dried) cum.
That's what I can remember on the top of my head, but I'm sure there's more.

Andrew McIntosh

Melbourne avant-performance-sound mob The Hi-God People worked out that, with Bandcamp download codes, the actual physical format of a release could be either tape, cdr, vinyl, or what have you, and decided it didn't even have to be a recordable format at all. Hence, one of their releases was a batch of home-made biscuits. Each came in a plastic bag with a copy of the download code and a script explaining the concept.

Time to get this thread moving forward.

This should be an album known to most of you - if not all. Visual presentation covered on all fronts from æstethics, concept, materiality and execution. Usually I just see two first as checked these days....
