What do you think about the Arturia Minibrute??

tiny_tove

I have it.
It has a very personal sound and I really like it although I still have to dedicate it the right amount of time since as soon I have received it I got into modular.

The Minibrute is what I've been thinking about picking up later. I desperately need something new. Been using the MS10 for far too long & getting really bored with it.

here comes really stupid question, from modular amateur: is it possible with minibrute to make kinda 2 sounds at the same, with the other oscillator slightly detuned to make that nice seasick mood?

fuk, these modular things are suckin me in, i never thought i'd like these so much... very addictive!!  i can only imagine what they do with some unsane bigmuff etc

Do you mean the kind of phasing sound? Yeah it has minibrutes own Ultrasaw setting for saw wave which sounds like 2-3 slightly detuned sawwaves at once, then you can also mix squarewave etc into it and it sounds crazy.
Sold my mono evolver keyboard and used half of the money for bills and half for minibrute, not regretting it yet.

monosynth so your only getting one sound when you press a key down but the sounds you can get out of it are fucking great. i dont see me getting rid of mine anytime soon

oh yea, thanks

must be insane when printed on tape at high levels.

poor man's modular alternative: theres a free monophonic version of aalto at beatdrive.de, requires creatin an account for the forum but after that you get an amazing sound machine... recommended!!
