But this 6 was a hell of a ride.

For the BLJ aficionados: Is Serie Torso worth it? Eyeing up the recent CD box set.

The series is good. I have volumes 1-3 on tape and liked them all. I remember 2 and 3 being particularly good. If I didn't already have the tapes, I would buy the boxset. I'd love to hear that bonus disc though...

Thanks, I listened through 1 last night and liked it a lot. Different feel on each track. If I enjoy 2 I will procure. There's a couple of tapes left on BC too. In a way would prefer these as currently don't have a CD player, but like you say, there is the bonus disc.

Eagerly awaiting a package from Richard, but know he's been away in the UK for a little now...

Highly recommend that any fan of the classic BLJ of the 90s check out the Gauze cassette.  Highlights some of the harshest and weirdest sides of the project at this time.  Plus more Gilden?  Can't complain about that...

Richard was my first complete harsh noise/harsh noise wall introduction. Because listening to Irr.App.(Ext) doing something with Blue Sabbath Black Cheer. Following them I heard of Phage Tapes. Onward to Richard. Werewolf Jerusalem hit me hard in 2012-2013-ish. I have a plethora of cassettes. Recent years I have enjoyed Collection Giallo.

Onward to Richard. Werewolf Jerusalem hit me hard in 2012-2013-ish. I have a plethora of cassettes. Recent years I have enjoyed Collection Giallo.

Speaking of Werewolf Jerusalem, I quite enjoyed that tape with the retro Village Damned image as cover, I forget the name of the cassette, but the image feels accurate with the wall of sound to accompany it.

it's easy to forget sometimes with an extensive discography. Flies On Our Tragic Dear(I think) left an huge impression on me. Static Studies is fabulous. I have a CDr box set that originally was in case but requested painted envelope for more, stellar.


New York Ripper is a great project as well.
