A few weeks ago in Iceland erupted the volcano Eyjafjall, creating clouds of ash and causing most of Europe's airports closed, because if the airplanes engines would fly through those clouds of ash, they'd run out oxygen and collapse. For 47 minutes, synthjammaster Andrew Coltrane recreates what might be the sound of the engines at 10,000 revolutions per minute, flying at 900 km/h and fighting for keep on running while the ashes try to suffocate and make them collapse.
