[Urban Noise]

NAR is a small independent label based in Portugal working with Ambient, Neo-Folk, Industrial and recently open the doors to Noise. Don't remember exactly when I started it, a few years ago, but since the creation it had very small or none activity. Last year I've focused more on the label and since then a few releases came out. Even if I'm working on it without any dormant periods I still work slow. This was never meant to be a massive label/distro but something with an artistic touch and to put out releases I believe have the quality to be heard.

New Approach Records new release!

Sektor 304 – "Engage... Forwards" 7'' is out now!

The masters of Portuguese Industrial are back with a new two tracks EP on 7'' vinyl format, limited to 250 copies. In "Engage... Forwards" and the re-recording of "Voodoo Machine" they blast us with a savage mixture of Junk, Scrap Metal, Percussions, Electronics, Bass and Vocals! An amazing journey of good old Industrial sounds with mastering by James Plotkin!

A special Box is also in the making, but not available yet, and will include, besides the 7'', 3 extra CD's (consisting of live recordings, raw junk metal material and brand new compositions) and a Zine exclusively dedicated to the band, all in a Metal Box limited to only 30 copies.  Detailed information and photos will be posted on our web site as soon as the Box is ready.

Terminal Tower Book by André Coelho & Manuel João Neto



Terminal Tower's creative process between artist and writer is positioned outsite the traditional comic book logic, in which there is a script to be adapted to sequential drawings. In this case, having the premiss of a man seculded in a tower in a state of alert, the book was developed simultaneously by both authors.

With the tower as a starting point, Coelho developed some drawings from which narrative ideas were taken and potentiated new illustrations which in their turn ran the all the narrative indefinitions forming a creative spiral.

The book's central theme is a delirium triggered by paranoia, without making clear if the engage of the tower's mechanisms is real or if it lies in the mind of the isolated man, since nothing seems to work in this ruin of the future, in which references to the derelict worlds of Enki Bilal, J.G. Ballard (1930-2009) and Industrial music – it's not by mere chance that both authors also colaborate in Sektor 304 - can traced
