The Singing Ringing Tree

I saw this 'instrument' in a recent article and was just curious if anyone here had gone to see it/listen to it? It's a three metre high sculpture near Burnley in the UK. I think it looks amazing, I will have to make a trip up there at some point.

great tree.

there was a similar thing in the summer here near the sea. but instead of one well thought out instrument there were many shitty ones. out of the punch there were few neat ones, a percussive piece: wind makes it wound and it released  a simple bass, tom, crash solo.


there should have been a human one, a few "interprative dance" people srung up on a pole with the wind blasting them for a few weeks.
