André is probably well known to many of you as one half of Locrian. Seven Thrones is a flawlessy executed piece of guitar work, sure to leave you breathless. The album comes on pro printed CD-Rs in a slipcase wallet, sealed within a spray painted, hand made bag made of smooth fabric. Very limited edition, so you'd better move fast!
André Foisy should be well on his way to becoming a household name by now. Through his massive and increasingly impressive output together with Terence Hannum, as Locrian, his distinguished guitar playing has arguably become the main trademark of this truly innovative name in modern experimental music.
"Seven Thrones" is Foisy's first solo full length album, and it is sure to please all fans of Locrian, as well as anyone with a weak spot for drone, ambient, and state-of-the-art guitar work. Slowly building waves of ethereal melodies hinting at Ennio Morricone, or even Neil Young's "Dead Man" soundtrack.
