Hygienia was doing noise very much in tradition of "F&V sound". Chains, shouted vocals with long delay, raw and crude sounds. Inside was ok, but actually outside venue it sounded better. More balanced mix of sound came from the open door. Short gig, but good for that length.
SSRI was doing his last live gig. At least said so. Raw and grim sounds from metals, contact mics over rotating turntable (without record). Very broken and decayed sounds, longer set. Good stuff, best of the noise bands this time - clearly most experience in live set.
Contortus had clearly progressed since first gig! Shorter, more compact set than their first gig. Also more advance use of vocals, not just plain high pitch screaming. One member's metal junk sound was very blunt, raw and unprocessed, while one created heavy rhythm and main main mr. Contortus was doing vocals and screeching metal sounds. Perhaps bass amps on the floor is thing what in future should be changed to be higher, since sound gets quite blurry behind mass of people.
Perhaps due exhaustingly hot weather, lots of people were listening stuff outside, which was basically good choice as sound that came out from doorway, was often more balanced than sound that came from various different amplifiers. While inside was during noise sets quite easy to come & go, venue got crowded when Vapaudenristi started to play. Intense heat for 40 minutes, but even if I say so myself, went pretty good. I assume pictures will follow soon of all artist. I'll upload noise pics in near future to SI blog.
