On the 21st. of January, Ethic Cleansing presented the spiral "This Means You" to a live audience, an Industrial diatribe inspired by one of the vocalist's experience as an aged care worker. The audience was given an impression of how the demented mind works and suffers, and was reminded that aged related mental illness was, for some of them, an inevitability. Between a constant synthesised throb, and carefully manipulated feedback, one vocalist gave a monologue that gradually increased in hysteria and the other giving the vocal impressions of the suffering individual that was nothing but hysteria, climaxing in verbal and physical assaults on the audience.
This cassette features two versions of this spiral, the first side a home recorded version and the second side the live version. Both sides are approximately twenty minutes. Trade only. Excerpt -
