I think european popularity is most likely thanks to Functional / Tesco support. CD re-issue probably made them much more known in Germany etc than the old 80's vinyl sold out looong ago. I think band is great. It's just kind of anonymous industrial from past, which isn't one of the "leading names", not someone who made some landmarks, but it's still the pure gold regurgitated from noise factory. It has certain similarity to Boy Dirt Car maybe. And I think all it would need to be "popular" in USA or such, would be name dropping from "big boys" from USA and it would most likely appeal to modern crowd over there?
