Hello,

I am newcomer to noise/Industrial music.
So what I can tell about my experiences of noise music, is very little.

So I pretty much started noise/industrial (or what style it is) begin with picking up Grunt - Myth of blood album.

So what I have enjoyed are:

Grunt
Will Over Matter
(Couple split albums) Bizzarre Uproar

(Other ambient/experimental music from years before looking into noise )
Vinterriket
Dark ages
Dead Reptile Shrine
.

If you can suggest some artist or album it would be greatly appreciated. My list isn't big so you can suggest pretty much anything and I will listen it and try give some comment back what it sounds like.

Welcome to the warzone!

Industrial:

SPK - Leichenschrei
BDN - Inner War
GENOCIDE ORGAN - Remember
ANENZEPHALIA - Noehaem

Leichenschrei is the essential starting point. It's the alpha and omega of industrial. The other three are trail blazers of the second generation and their template of 25-30 ago still pretty much stands today.

I'm less interested in noise personally but a few notables:

MACRONYMPHA
SICKNESS
KERANEN
UMPIO
SSRI...

The Finns are good as a general rule. They have been for a while now and probably will continue to be for a while longer. The above names aren't the be all and end all of course. There are a multitude of giants who deserve your time and commitment but that's for you to seek out via the small list above. Happy hunting!

You may also want try stuff like Alfarmania,STROM.ec,Cloama,Trepaneringsritualen,Grey Wolves and Con-Dom..to name a few.

Good point! There is the PE side as well. Mainly British and UK 80's but a few Americans have done well too.

WHITEHOUSE - Everything from Erector to Great White Death. After that it starts to flag IMO.
CON-DOM - Colour of a Man's Skin, the tracks off War Against Society
GREY WOLVES - Catholic Priests
SUTCLIFFE JUGEND - I'm actually more fond of their current output than their older material, Pigdaddy is a favourite.
FINAL SOLUTION - Didn't release much but they didn't need to. Sometimes written off as a Whitehouse rip off which is ridiculous. While WH remain essentially British FS are uber American and all the better for it. The track Ravensbruck from the Zyklon B compilation is hard to beat on any level.

As with the above list this is bare bones. There is SO much greatness to be explored. Start with FINAL SOLUTION - Ravensbruck and let yourself go. It's a beautiful track that will leave you wanting more.

Thanks for the recommendation, being a newbie myself...
Let me add Leichenlinie by GENOCIDE ORGAN that totally got me into P.E. Unbelievable stuff.

Instead of suggestion what I've found amazing over time, these were essentials to start with. Note: I was moreso interested in harsh noise and industrial-ish music. I think many of the folks above have given great power electronics suggestions...

Ryan Bloomer "Forearm Shiver" C69 (Self Abuse): Absolutely incredible harsh noise artist. Grating feedback, dense distorted rumbles and very adept at building tension. This was his best, or maybe "Bully Hiss" on Phage.
Sewer Election & Treriksröset "Rågsved" C30 (Thorax Harsh Cassettes): Two kingpins of Swedish harsh noise. They've put out many collabo's together, but this was always my favorite. Just gritty, direct.
Body Collector "Acidic Dread" C30 (Nurse Etiquette): First time I ever heard anyone play with silence. With contact mic's. Sheet metal that wasn't disguised by a million effects. His early work was pure distortion, but this album and beyond were exciting bits of experimental noise.
Ultra "Spray / Death / Ultra" LP (Dom America): Suggested by Ajna Offensive, this album kinda opened it all up. Depraved, experimental, subtly harsh. The most "musical" item here.
Ahlzagailzehguh "Black Destination" 2xC20 (Truculent Rec.): One of the best harsh noise albums I ever heard. Relentless. A fist direct in the face.
Burial Hex "Gripster Killer" C30 (Hate Song): One of the most eclectic and adventurous characters in the world of noise. This early tape was when he was still deeply indebted to early European noise pioneers. The sound of another dimension ripping open.
Bizarre Uproar "Triumph" 2xC44 (Cathartic Process): Not the BU you'll hear discussed quite as much. This is a monolith of shrill and menacing noise.
C.C.C.C. "Chaos Is The Cosmos" CD (Cold Spring): Psychedelic noise master-group.
Mo*Te "Life in a Peaceful New World" C60 (Hebi Like A Snake): Fuzz till kingdom come. As it's been suggested, probably an early inspiration to the creation of the "noise wall".
Taint "Misogynist Lust" C48/CD/LP (Taint Ent./Freak Animal): My favorite by this legend. Not as "stalkerish" as his other works. A crumbling mass.
Treriksröset "Sexregler" CD (Troniks/Chondritic Sound): One of the best 40+ minute albums of linear harsh noise I ever heard.
Chop Shop "Powerdrunk" C46/CDr (Banned Prod.): One of the more "quiet" works you'll ever hear that is also mammoth. A very fascinating artist.
Le Syndicat "Rectal Struggle" C60 (Broken Flag): Maybe you could call this an early or ur-power electronics album. Lots of voice, although maybe all samples, across a melee of synth and grit. Legendary label to research. Look into "As Loud As Possible #1" magazine...
LXSS "Twist And Decease" C60 (Multiple Configuration): Exotic and surreal industrial album. Haunting and experimental.
Piss Horn "Hatred Mountain" C30 (Nurse Etiquette): One of the "darker" albums I've ever heard.
XX Committee "Steel Negro Music" CS/CD (A.R.P.H. Tapes/Trash Ritual): Amazing mixture of ambience, rhythm, and metallic din.
Macronympha "Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania" LP/CD/C47 (Praxis Dr. Bearmann/Trash Ritual/Mother Savage): Along with Skin Crime, Macro- is the end-all-be-all of American harsh noise.
Skin Crime "Skin Crime" LP (Force Of Nature Prod., Hospital Prod.): Yep...

Like some others, I'm sure, I am forever grateful for Joe Roemer's 100 essentials list:

I think this is a great way to guide someone through those initial stages.  Experiment with styles.  Take a broad approach and hone from there.  It is experimental after all.
