do i remember correctly reading somewhere that the KILLER BUG set was going to be recorded for an upcoming release?

It was amazing. Favorite sets were The Rita, Paranoid Time, Gnawed and Aaron Dilloway. I'm not articulate enough (and wasn't sober enough) to write a good overview, but for harsh heads, there was definitely enough variation in styles to keep each next set exciting.

From what I saw, they were doing pro recording off the board and room, and they had multiple cameras. DVDr of the whole show sometime. My hope is that sound is mastered more like a tape than a live DVD.

Only caught the first day, but it was pretty darn good from start to finish.

After living in Vancouver for a few years and seeing The Rita countless times I have to say that his set at Amplified Humans was right up there with the best of them. Classic snorkel action.

Endo & Kubota collab was LOUD. Kubota's solo set was great.

Skin Graft was just a cut above the rest, too.

The footage of Killer Bug from the second night looks amazing.


Utmost respect to Luke and Stefan for putting on a well-organized and well-curated fest. No issues that I could see. Everything ran smoothly (even ahead of schedule as the night went on, which was nice), the PA was great, and accommodations were beyond satisfactory. Well done.
