Stumbled upon something interesting.

Berna 3 is the latest version of the simulation of an early electronic music studio.

A celebration of the Studio di Fonologia Musicale of Milano (Studio for Musical Phonology) of the RAI Italian National Radio and Television and the German WDR's Elektronische Musik Studio of Cologne.

The user of Berna 3 has the opportunity to build their own compositions starting from the instruments and practices that defined electronic music at its origins.

A didactic tool that will give us the opportunity to understand how masterpieces such as Gesang del Jünglinge, Fontana Mix or Visage were conceived and created, but also the possibility of approaching the very idea of electronic music, as it was invented in the first half of the last century.

Seems like Saike's plugins for Reaper (via reapack, or from the forum) are always interesting and a bit strange... very cool Lava reverb!

That thing's brilliant, got it a few months ago and it's a great synth for ultra-low and oscillating frequencies. I'm crap at modular patching so I haven't bothered effing around with linking different bits but it's nice to know the potential's there.

since my pc/win7 is slowly coming to the point where several plugins won't update anymore because of "update managers" instead of just downloading an installer i've been kinda cemented into "not the newest tools", but i'm quite ok with that..... i like using what i have instead of constantly ratracing for the newest plugins

I also shelled out 50 bucks for some reverbs, modulation etc. Basically, the is nothing else available which can offer so much bang for the buck. I highly recommend all of the Vahalla DSP stuff. Mind-boggingly good!

I need to check out the CrushStation more thoroughly; I've mainly used it to add grit and it's pretty grainy (in a good way). Was a bit surprised that it's $99 and they gave it away. I have a 16+ minute track almost in the can that is on the more composed side, thinking of doing some harsher stuff as a "b-side" and I'll see if I can make it crush... Eventide overall is good, though... I haven't got a lot of their stuff but what I do have from them is quality stuff.
