4/5/20: Inventoried Items Back In Stock

Mail services are slowing down (less planes flying = longer wait  times), so there are unfortunately no new arrivals this week. Plenty of  items are incoming, though, and will trickle in as they are able to.

In the meantime I spent the week doing inventory, which resulted in  52 items being put back in stock. The majority of these are sitting at 1  copy so don't sleep if you've missed something the first time around.

Next weekend will see a small used update to tide us over and hopefully some new stuff will have arrived by then.

4/11/20: New Arrival from Foul Prey + Small Used Update

I've received only one package in the mail in the past two weeks  as delivery from many places has slowed to a crawl and/or completely  stopped. Packages I ship out seem to be getting there without issue,  likely due to the shipping service I use for international post.  Domestic packages are also being delivered without issue, and in some  cases quicker than normal. Anyways, while we continue to ride this out  we are all here just doing what we can. Orders for new stock continue to  be placed and there are a lot of good things coming. I've generated a  small used update just to keep things flowing for the time being. 5/10/20: New Arrivals from Beyond the Ruins, Fusty, Modern Tapes, Noise Receptor

Packages have been trickling in here. Seems like anything destined for my home address is showing up, while stuff headed to my work address is being held. This makes sense, as businesses in Montreal are to remain closed until at least May 25th, and knowing this I'm sure Canada Post is not even attempting deliveries to businesses. Our doors are shut but we are still in the building operating mail order, so we are going to try contact Canada Post to let them know we are able to receive. UPDATE: Just confirmed with Canada Post that in the next 3-5 days we will receive our backlog of mail at the shop.

Folks are still receiving their orders worldwide and I'm still here shipping, so definitely don't hesitate to order if mail services in your country are operational.

It's been a pretty intense couple of weeks in the midst of these long and stressful months. Everything is upside down, but some things are starting to turn right side up. There's a long way to go and Canada is certainly no angel when it comes to the reality of systemic racism. All money from digital sales for the month of June will be split between donations to the Center for Research-Action on Race Relations (Montreal-based independent, non-profit civil rights organization that was founded in 1983 with the mandate to promote racial equality and combat racism in Canada) and the Native Friendship Centre Montreal (non-profit, non-sectarian, autonomous community development agency whose principal mission is to promote, develop, and enhance the quality of life in the Urban Indigenous community of Montreal). Any Absurd Exposition artists who wish to donate their share of digital sales can also do so. A portion of physical sales will be contributed as well, so as to make a substantial enough donation to both organizations. This is on top of already-occurring personal monthly donations to the Unist'ot'en Camp (a new fuel spill occurred on Wet'suwet'en territory this week) and the Black Lives Matter Global Network.

The savage mutilation of the human race is set on course. It is up to us to change that course.

Patrick dug some stuff out of the Self Abuse storage archives and as a result there are some killer new-old-stock items in this update including the Aube "Quadrotation" 4×7″ box set, 7″s from K2 and Killer Bug, some CDs including the classic "Music Should Hurt" compilation, and several other items. There's a double-dose of Aube in this update with Robert & Leopold's reissue of the classic "Spindrift" on LP. Plus the new Herukrat CD on Found Remains, the latest batch of hitters from New Forces and some heavy reissues from Troniks.

August 30th will be the release date of the next Absurd Exposition batch. After that the Knurl CD/DVD and then... more tapes.
