Recorded in winter's solitude under soft light, the nods to early industrial-noise are even more apparent, yet "Solving" finds the project crafting more subdued levels of anxiety, hopelessness, and grit in finding its own voice. Four tracks of synths, tapes, and other electronics, evoking longing, disgust, and self-doubt.
