Unusual solo recordings for this great guitarist from Naples (who also plays in bands A Spirale and Grizzly/Strongly Imploded). Only guitar and valves present a roaring, tense and always lapping the breaking point sonic gem. A impetuous flow in which the muscular physicality on the instrument results in an enraged, aggressive timbre research. Maybe something like Derek Bailey training himself for a jam with Arab On Radar?!

Clayton Ruby is a key figure of the US experimental scene of Zero Years, among the first to develop certain elements of "noise" into compositional forms. Between the years of 2009 and 2013 a tangential series of recorded experiments in rhythm transpired. Out of this entire output few songs were heard publicly, except for "Precession Dub" on Blackest Ever Black's Krokodilo Tapes series. The remaining unreleased material has finally been sorted, with selections to come out in volumes called The Spoils of Feral Love.
