Was trolling around on Discogs for some info regarding the Swedish harsh noise project Blod, and instead stumbled upon this:
https://www.discogs.com/artist/4071275-Blod-6Apparently this music isn't exactly harsh but no less disturbing. This is the entirety of Matthias Andersson's review of "Unga Roster" LP from Fordamning #7:
QuoteVery sad collection of found tapes. It begins with recordings of children's choirs, but slowly gets more intimate and more personal with what appears to be a dad jamming with his children. You feel like a window voyeur, finally sneaking inside someone's house. Sometimes it's all a-capella but often the father joins in on guitar. He is helping them with the lyrics, filling them in and pushing them on ("sjung nu da!" = "come on, sing!"). One of the most miserable renditions of the Swedish Christmas classic "Nu tandas tusen juleljus" I've ever heard, eternal sadness and you just want to fucking die. Disturbing shit. Towards the end the father goes solo and I bet his is drunk out of his ass. Crude pause-button editing, some rewinding with well-chosen parts repeated. (no label, 2015)
Holy shit. Sounds like some unbearable/excruciatingly miserable genius, especially for when you're drunk around the holidays. I looked up some info on Discogs, and this guy looks like a creepy glam rock weirdo.
Even better is the mildly disturbing artwork and shit on the tapes and LPs, there are like pinup photos alongside pictures of babies and such. Anyone, please share any info or links....I need to hear something this bleak and miserable.
