Had my mind blown when I realised BA:KU and The Rita were related. BA:KU was huge for me as my skate scene in Manchester would take the piss out of anyone who didn't solely listen to hip hop or or Manchester indie stuff. You'd think a bunch of skate nerds would more readily accept someone who's into black metal. BA:KU coming along was pretty great cos regardless of its tongue in cheek nature I at least knew that other extreme music fans were skating.
