The only thing I've heard from Mental Destruction was a comp LP track & it was one of the best on the record. I think it's "Ohrenschmaltz" (SP?).

for those curious about Mental Destruction, I recommend checking out Straw.  Industrial.
"the overindulgent machines were their children"
I only buy vinyl, d00ds.

To me that album sounded theoretically very good, but actually my ears & brain get very irritated from a lot of things sounding as having negative effects of computer manipulation of the time. Talking about slightly older album, when PC probably wasn't yet good enough to use for music... They sample good sources, but everything has slightly annoying quality in them. Of course, been ages since I listened it (sold cd away), so maybe someday should re-check.
I think best moments of the band is in live situations, when their positive gospel metal approach seems more visible? From smoky stage lighted by powerful spotlights, appears guy with long puffy hardrock hair, furiously moshing with the bounding industrial sounds. You don't see that very often!

I have a couple of Vinyls by BLACKHOUSE who I always assumed were a Joke.............however some of the material is of very high quality..........its just that when you listen to the lyrics they come across as STRYPER on bad drugs.

For me "5 Minutes After I Die" album is one of the best ever. Old school industrial mixed with power electronics - I didn't listen better such mixture as it.

I should have been more clear. I disagree that XE has any sort of relation to faith in the project. If so its certainly not reflected that clearly.

Jonathan Briley comes to mind, not sure if he was a Satanist exactly but he quotes from LaVey's Satanic Bible.  Think he's a Zen Buddhist or something now.

The theoretical notion of sincere believers making "christian power electronics" strikes me as about as dubious as "unblack metal":
