Anybody has already seen this movie? Any impressions?

Biggest pile of shit I ever saw. Same old boring faces blowing lukewarm air. It's not even an hour long and I nearly fell asleep.Apart from 3 seconds worth of good footage of SPK and Test Dept I thought it was beyond boring.Dreadful editing , and the sound quality is so bad you can't make out what people are saying at times.Don't waste your time. Others might say different & fair enough but I think the people who made it we're fucking clueless.

It's like people who think punk died in 1978. Cultural necrophilia.

Thanks for info. I expected that.

Curious to watch this, but I heard it speaks only about the first years as if it is dead now. If like this it would be a wasted occasion.
But I cannot confirm this until I watch this.

QuoteIndustrial music is finally getting the credit it deserves. Many magazines like FACT, Rolling Stone and Mojo have put industrial music albums into their top albums of all time. Industrial music is also a very collected and sought-after genre, with records often making Discogs' most expensive items sold for the month.

Where's your industrial documentary guys?

FreakAnimalFinland

Bunch of documentaries have been done. I'm not opposed someone focusing on limited era. With so many cameras and free editing software, doing something is just matter of... Doing something! I wouldn't oppose short doc's of many different era, subgenre, approach, label or country.

Since you asked -

Not always noise centered but enough of it, and not updated in a few years, true, but it's all still there. Plenty of interviews, plenty of live sounds, even a few of my own if I may make so bold.

That first self-interview: commendable.

Thank you. I wang on enough on forums like this so it makes sense when being interviewed to just shut fucking up.

I really should re-upload those interviews at least because it seems possible now to upload longer vids onto YouTube. There was a ten minute limit when I started. I'm also getting in touch with people for future interviews - there's a lot of movement in Melbourne at the moment.

Aye, you should Andrew. Those interviews with the two Groves are fantastic.

Andrew McIntosh

Thanks David. They're both pretty good subjects to interview.
