It is funny to see reaction about being banned from Discogs. When for a lot of bands it is almost automatic. Or expected. And think something like Interracial Sex being banned from discogs being... crazy... hmm.. how? haha!

Question of race. I have talked about this before many times and when attempting to explain how Americans often appear to have pretty much pathological relationship with race, seems impossible to explain. I don't see Oscar explaining I.S. race doesn't exist. It is taken as granted, I suppose.

Little amusing are small things like the talk about whether blatant racists could like and appreciate I.S. or not. Seems to me almost as dumb question as discussing if vehemently heterosexuals, even to level of anti-pride agenda dudes, could like and enjoy BLJ. Man, industrial noise! Of course they can. I can't speak for others, obviously, but saying word nigger is barely a huge selling point. There can be merely appreciation for artistic integrity and honesty or merely liking quality of expression.

Someone could perhaps even remind neat story from Olympics of 1936. German leader stood up and waved hand for black American for being the best in the game, which is indeed in lines of appreciation of skill and strength - appreciation of the greatness. American leaders didn't even bother to congratulate one of their own, and this was that hurt the winning athlete. Sometimes it seems attitudes or behavior of humans remains mystery for people who have fixed ideas.

It is amazing any other topic in underground culture is just fine to be vague, but like this interview mentions, this one topic remains taboo in a way that there is strong demand to "get in the line, or else"...

Never seen single negative discussion about I.S.  Must be reddit or aggro emotional social media? I do not doubt it exists, just never seen any negative discussions. Only appreciation and strong label support.

Reminds me of the reaction to the first couple of Liver Mortis live pics that came out. I think someone here actually asked if "it was true LM is black". I remember when I initially got into IS and I figured it was a white dude behind it. Then he played close to home...and I mistakenly thought the guy he did a collab with during the set was behind IS.
