The video of the alleged victim of police brutality's video testimony is here:
http://leaksource.wordpress.com/2013/02/08/christopher-dorner-investigation-documents-deposition-legal-papers-challenging-lapd/ His testimony was considered "too inarticulate and un-credible" to be used as evidence, although I don't really see how. I think they also brought up that he claimed he was only kicked once, which was inconsistent with Dorner's complaint, though the first time the lawyer asked about the kicks, he asked him how many times he was kicked in the face, which is entirely consistent with Dorner's claim that Evans kicked him twice in the chest or shoulder, and once in the face. The second time he said he was kicked only once, he was probably still thinking of the kick to his face. He should have been asked if he was kicked in the chest or shoulder as well. Fucking hell.
When I first read Dorner's "manifesto", for the first paragraph or two I was struck by how normal he seemed, but reading on, his repetitions of the same points, sometimes the same sentences, over and over again clearly show that he was cracking up. And then all his messages for celebrities and politicians clearly indicate some kind of manic state. Still, it kind of makes you think that it had all just started out as a kind of just regular discussion of his case, and thinking back on those events made him break down as he was writing it, but it seems that he was appealing the decision of the court until late 2011 or thereabouts. That, and the fact that he sent the package to Anderson Cooper in advance shows that he was planning this for a while. He also must have been trailing and gathering intelligence on his targets for some time, as is evident in his "manifesto".
I really hope he can keep it up for a while, and maybe send out some further communications. Although it's a really sad story, it's also highly entertaining and it would be a shame for it to be over so quickly.
