From a libertarian perspective this just shows how some laws create worse problems than they solve. In the UK niqab and burka aren't illegal, a minority of muslim women choose to wear them (or are made to by their crazy husbands), nothing worse happens usually than those women being looked at by others (including majority of muslims) with pity and disgust.
