I read tons of shit a few years ago when the first Amanda Knox trial was going down and I am pretty much 100% convinced that she was guilty and the Italian legal system just fucked the whole thing up. As it was years ago I don't remember where I read all of these things but there was some pretty suspect evidence, like her and her boyfriend going to the only general store in the town, and buying bleach, gloves, and a mop the day after it happened, shop owner didn't have a record of the purchase as it was with cash however. Also there was some fairly convincing DNA evidence on the weapons, but the police messed up while collecting it or something. I don't know I think drug fueled orgy murder is what happened and her rich parents lawyers managed to talk her out of it initially.
