I apologize if it's been mentioned in here, but has anybody heard of Shasta Groene's Kickstarter for a memoir from last month?
Apparently it's been fully funded and it says its due for first printing this October.

On Reddit I read some people are highly skeptical because there has been mentions online of her lately getting into a lot of legal trouble regarding childcare + drugs and alcohol, so they wonder where the money's REALLY gonna go to.

She made probation instead of jail due to a kindly judge last month and there is a methed out mugshot in the local news reports. Cannot imagine the unbearable circumstances of her life and maybe it would be better if she changed her name and disappeared rather than playing 'Shasta Groene' for prurient gawkers forever. Fuck, I'd be doing drugs.

Yep, really don't blame her. That Raiders tattoo is pretty depressing but yeah, that woman should start a new life far away from us and everyone else.

That's exactly how I feel, too (I've seen the mugshot as well).
I absolutely don't blame her one bit; I only meant I do not believe in the integrity of the circumstances (?) leading to writing and publishing of this book.
In the beginning I was shamefully excited cause I realized I could finally read the details of this utter horror from her side, but then I caught myself and realized how pointless and how sad the entire ordeal is.

dude went on TV and asked for his family to be returned back safe - gets arrested the next for 3 murder's (wife and 2 small daughters) now he is saying his wife killed the daughter which in turn he killed her
