Half An Abortion (More shameless self promotion but I do think it's a solid photo)

Most live photos from this blog certainly meet the requirements I think.

Cementimental

I was quite pleased with this unintentional special effect caused by the iphone's HDR setting having trouble with a moving target in low light. Runzelstirn & Gurgelstøck at Schimpfluch Carnival:

Few of my favorite Cementimental ones: :)

Not directed at anyone in particular. But looking through the post of "self-promotion" it seems that most people are pretty bad at judging photos of themselves performing.

Anyway it seems that the most pleasing pictures are often the least informative, most obscure ones (the other end of the spectrum being ugly flash-lit up-front photos where everything is clearly visible and you see the artist making some stupid face). A lot of the photos in this thread would look extremely weird to someone who didn't know what noise was - the Shift photo, the last two of Runzelstirn & Gurgelstøck, (both really cool) etc. The photos ARKHE uploaded of AOF and Prurient have really nice light, contrast etc. but there's not too much excitement in the subjects themself, even less for someone who doesn't know the artists I think...

Also can we stop taking zoomed out pictures where you see the whole area in front of the stage and that there's only like 3 bored-looking people in attendance. So depressing

Swedes are the most photogenic. Some of my memories from 2009 :

Genetic Transmission (Tomasz Twardawa) live in Miedzyborz in 2006:

Like someone already mentioned in the BF fest topic, Lettera 22 set had very clever set-up. Most definitely very nice for the audience so that they can see what's going on.

Also recent pics from SpeigasIV fest turned out really great, though I'm quite bitter about the fact that the photographer didn't take (or at least share) any pics of the Grunt set. My favorite was definitely "Levas the Pig", made me laugh my ass off. So funny but at the same time very creepy.

The first part of the backing video (before Girl Model) was very disturbing with naked kids and lady giving a birth, check the facial impression of the lady in the middle and you know I'm not lying haha!

Even funnier is the two people seen taking photos to capture this dodgy-sounding film for their personal collections.
