Was just listening to Der Blutharsch / Deutsch Nepal ‎– Apöcalyptic Climäx 2 -CD. Thinking this must be among better new stuff from both what I have heard. Then went to see discogs and realized that despite being quite new CD (2011), it is actually re-issue of 10" from 1999.
Length was c. 30 mins which was quite close to perfect for material heard here. Loops, orchestral sounds, quite noisy industrial percussions driven by heavy distortion. Some vocals. Lots of keyboard tones with simple and aimless composition.

Continued to check out what actually did happen after 1999... And that's year when EROSION CD came out. Good back then, not too good when revisited it while ago.

Since 1999....
Behind A Wall Of Silence ‎ (Cass, Album, Ltd, C46)   Old Europa Cafe    2000
Erotikon ‎ (CD, Album)   Cold Meat Industry    2006
Reutoff vs Deutsch Nepal - Kreuzung Vier ‎ (CD, Album, Ltd)   Ewers Tonkunst    2009
Live In Saint-Petersburg 261206 ‎ (CD, Ltd)   Aquarellist    2011
Amygdala ‎ (CD, Album)
+ some compilation sets etc..

And wasn't very thrilled by any of them.  Personal favorites remain:

Deflagration Of Hell CD
Benevolence CD
¡Comprendido!... Time Stop! ...And World Ending CD

with heavy focus on the first one mentioned.

Was this re-mastered for new digipak? Somehow sounds overtly boosted/crispy compared to old CD version..

Despite slightly cheesy sample if I remember the movie correctly...

While I appreciate those 3 releases, and like what they are, I'm still often quite amazed by the magnitude of popularity when most of the stuff appears to operate with such a common factory pre-set keyboard sounds.

If i'm not mistaken releases after around 1999 has been made more or less with computer after Lina's analog equipment broke down around that time? Maybe that would give some help... I enjoy almost everything up to Erosion, favorites being Tolerance, Comprendido and The Top Of...LP. I Think Erotikon was a major letdown. Havent dared venturing into Amygdala.

About 10 years back a friend mailed me a copy of "Silent Siege" album and it contained the worst cover version of The Pop Group's "We Are All Prostitutes" that I just gave up on them / him.

Phew! So, it's not just me! I used to be quite a fan of Deutsch Nepal, but completely lost interest after 'Erotikon', and have bought nothing by him since.
Besides the ones mentioned, I also really liked the 'Environment' 7" on Ant-Zen (I think). He also did a Deutsch NePAL one, which was PAL remixing a track off that, and Lina remixing a PAL track. Does anyone have this? Was it any good?
I think the first track I heard by Deutsch Nepal was on a fairly limited tape compilation called 'Spiral Organ of Coti'. Well, maybe not THE first, but the one that got me really interested. Just a cold, minimal rebound over a sampled voice and a little bit of suspense. It was called 'Filled up with Hollowness', or something, and I just loved the apparent nihilistic detachment of it all!
If I had to pick a favourite album it'd be that 'Comprendido!...Time Stop...!' one, but I think that was his peak all right.

Depends if you like PAL or not. I think its nice, but not really good, since i don't like PAL

DN used to be one of my favorites from the Cold Meat camp, but like most of you haven't kept up over the last decade or so. The music had just the right balance of industrial clattering, ambient textures, and driving rhythms for my taste. The best ones for me are Tolerance, Benevolence and the Mort Aux Vaches live split with In Slaughter Natives. Also the collaboration with the Moon Lay Hidden Beneath A Cloud was really sweet. Couldn't believe the title of that last CD though, Rapist Park Junction. Is Lina trying to become Sütcliffe Jugend?

Last time I saw DN live, a couple of years back, was unexpectedly good, with Thomas of Trepaneringsritualen brought in on bass guitar. Here's an excerpt, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmvBJv3a_Uc

Is Rapist Park Junction  a CD, not a 2x7"?

I stand corrected, I just checked up on it. Don't have it myself, just heard about it and instinctively assumed it was a CD. Nevertheless, that title raises questionmarks.

Maybe he's trying to compete with Raison D'Etre's alterego Stratvm Terror in terms of aural violence, except he's too lazy to do it as a side project?
