Was just listening to Der Blutharsch / Deutsch Nepal – Apöcalyptic Climäx 2 -CD. Thinking this must be among better new stuff from both what I have heard. Then went to see discogs and realized that despite being quite new CD (2011), it is actually re-issue of 10" from 1999.
Length was c. 30 mins which was quite close to perfect for material heard here. Loops, orchestral sounds, quite noisy industrial percussions driven by heavy distortion. Some vocals. Lots of keyboard tones with simple and aimless composition.
Continued to check out what actually did happen after 1999... And that's year when EROSION CD came out. Good back then, not too good when revisited it while ago.
Since 1999....
Behind A Wall Of Silence (Cass, Album, Ltd, C46) Old Europa Cafe 2000
Erotikon (CD, Album) Cold Meat Industry 2006
Reutoff vs Deutsch Nepal - Kreuzung Vier (CD, Album, Ltd) Ewers Tonkunst 2009
Live In Saint-Petersburg 261206 (CD, Ltd) Aquarellist 2011
Amygdala (CD, Album)
+ some compilation sets etc..
And wasn't very thrilled by any of them. Personal favorites remain:
Deflagration Of Hell CD
Benevolence CD
¡Comprendido!... Time Stop! ...And World Ending CD
with heavy focus on the first one mentioned.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aa-ByD5L2rsDespite slightly cheesy sample if I remember the movie correctly...
While I appreciate those 3 releases, and like what they are, I'm still often quite amazed by the magnitude of popularity when most of the stuff appears to operate with such a common factory pre-set keyboard sounds.
