About Eddie... I don't dislike him as a fighter nor as a person (I watched many of his interviews). He has been around, has a very good record, most of his wins are finishes and he has been part of some very exciting fights. While he was doing all that, I didn't even know MMA existed. I enjoyed random boxing, kickboxing and muay thai matches on TV so I can't say I was ever a fan of his. I have only seen his UFC fights and I never really felt he deserved the title shot against RDA with those THREE shitty performances (one loss, two split decisions). However, what he did to RDA certainly proved that he was worthy of that opportunity but that still didn't make me a fan so I definitely wanted Conor to win, not only because I hate watching dude rubbing his dick against another dude (Anthony Pettis fight) but also because Conor was robbed of his chance to become the first simultaneous 2-weight world champion the first time when RDA pulled out. Now I'm kinda pissed because Eddie is going around claiming that he didn't fight his gameplan. The fuck he's talking about? Every time he tried to close the distance, Conor would either move away or crack him with a shot, not allowing Eddie to do what he wanted (which was obviously to wrestle). And when he managed to grab Conor, Conor would counter wrestle and break free, and then pressure Eddie against the cage again, kicking and punching him. He tried but simply wasn't good enough and it pisses me off that he can't admit it.
