I just got the Finnish translation of "Tales of Paranoia" that came out some days ago. Well done version. It is crucial that text is done hand drawn, with Crumb style, including re-drawing the headlines and such. This new small company did really good job with it. 3 Finnish people, professionals on this field, involved with project.
There has been some shitty examples of computer fonts and such in recent years when they try to save some money and time involved in publishing...
"Tales of Paranoia" is really grumpy old man type of comics, where most of the stories are indeed Crumbs paranoia (or.. legit concerns) of covid, big pharma, shadow state, 5G,.. heh.. you know the drill! Panic attacks and feelings of being outsider, even among friends. His skills in drawing as good as it ever was. How many could be at the peak of their motoric skills at 80+? What is missing in this book, is the juicy erotic passions. I have not followed at all, but I would guess content of stories may be very divisive in the alternative comic scene or field of culture?
