Came across Freddie the Fix by Garth Ennis & Mike Perkins. Short but intense and fun graphic novel mixing Hollywood scum with horror movie icons in a supernatural/noir novel style. Very fun and well written. Peak visuals as well. Extremely recommended

Anyone here into Nemesis The Warlock? 2000AD stuff from the 80s. I remember having some comics at a very young age and the illustrations were mind blowing to my young mind and holds great photographic memory to this day. I've been trying to track down the graphic novel books in nice package, but hard to find in the US and can be quite expensive!

Rebellion (current 2000AD publishers) has done a line of Nemesis Definitive Editions. I have the first three, I think it goes up to five?

It's funny now, cause I had some Nemesis The Warlock comics as a child, probably when I was like 10-12 years old and the concept was way over of my head in regards to the storyline, but imagery seemingly stuck with me forever. I think if I remember correctly I had got some of those issues, not sure where in the series line, but got them from a dollar store in the 90s, it was like a 2000AD three pack, but for a dollar! I remember like yesterday, cause the artwork was so strange, felt like a dream in some strange medieval / futuristic dystopian world. The artwork was incredible and now after doing some further investigation to the Nemesis as an adult, it appears this series is certainly brilliant and worth the time in looking deeper into and certainly has peaked my interest in regards to.

If you're going down a 2000AD nostalgia trip, volume one of Slaine in the definitive editions is absolutely incredible. Superb art and story. Volume 2 however is terrible and only notable for it being Glen Fabry's comic debut.

Definitely going down that obscure rabbit hole/trip indeed! My buddy literally told me today in discussion that very same thing today too! Slaine, certainly on the radar along with other 2000AD stuff. I'll certainly make "note" of the volume 2 like you mentioned, as you seem to be as versed as friend when it comes to 2000AD stuff.
