I agree that it's not as good as the film's poster art but, I guess, the rights to the original art would be expensive. I haven't picked up anything from Waxwork due to their prices; $27 for Rosemary's Baby is just too much for a single record. I'm betting that Creepshow will be $30+.

One-Static posted samples to Cannibal Ferox which is much better than I remember; I haven't viewed the film in a couple of years.

I'm looking forward to C.F. & City of the Living Dead from Death Waltz plus they're doing The Beyond. I may grab their release as I bent the corner on my  Mondo release & DW may have improved sound as they're claiming they're mastering from "original masters". I have no clue what Mondo used.

I passed on Ms.45 (haven't seen the film in a very long time; cool cover art), Forbidden World (cool film), The Omen (music isn't anything I'd re-listen to), Blue Sunshine (I have a cd ost that came with the dvd from Synapse), or Here Comes the Devil (haven't seen the film but music is suppose to be good).

In that case the artwork may have some potential. I like the idea that they might illustrate art from different chapters of the film like "The Lonesome Death Of Jordy Verril", as can be seen from the preview.

I just checked those samples yesterday and you're right, they're awesome. I think I have some of those tracks, if not all, on the Switzerland bootleg tapes that I posted here some months ago but that vinyl is a must.

been listening to THE TERMINATOR & TERMINATOR 2 soundtracks quite a bit lately.  the OST for the first film is cheesy but still creepy/dark 80's synth goodness-- bonus if you can get a hold of the "definitive edition"-- extra tracks by brad fiedel & no lame 80's rock music tracks.

Terminator was very difficult because I was using many different synths and sequencers and because I didn't have midi available on many of them I had to sync them by hand. This is why the main theme is in a very odd time signature. The looping of the prophet 10 was just a little short of a complete measure.

Just found out that Finders Keepers Records is going to put out vinyl version of Bruno Nicolai's soundtrack for Perché quelle strane gocce di sangue sul corpo di Jennifer? aka The Case Of The Bloody Iris (Giuliano Carnimeo, 1972) in April 2014.

I didn't see anything on Finders Keepers about the upcoming LP. I'll buy it based on price & if I can find a distro in the U.S. Samples are good & the artwork is excellent; I've seen the film but remember very little about it.

CANNIBAL FEROX is up for pre-ordering from the label & Light in the Attic in the U.S. The special edition will have different, uncensored artwork than the black vinyl.

I've got this (not the gatefold version) and was just listening to it the other day. It's a very good record.
Soundtracks are an unknown world to me. I've ordered an Alessandro Alessandroni CD (Inchiesta) which sounds awesome based on sound samples. Apparently it was made for a 70s Italian TV series.
