In the Halloween / October tradition I'm watching as many spook-show style, haunted atmosphere laden films as possible. One of my all time favorites is INVASION OF THE VAMPIRES (1963, Mexico). Watched it tonight and forgot how insane the soundtrack is - tape loops, sound effects that go into delayed effects, musique concrete, etc. Almost like Stockhausen meets Sun Ra meets Philip Corner. Amazing.

Watched Fernando Di Leo's NAKED VIOLENCE again tonight - the newer Raro Video Blu-Ray. Been years since I watched my old Italian language vhs bootleg.
