At least some years ago, you could still buy entire catalogue of S.O.P. from label themselves. Just drop email and ask.. I used to distribute some titles, but haven't taken any for some years.

Yeah, Alex from TL told me something similar. Just contact the label and I'm sure he is willing to work something out. Some are buying these tapes for 30-50€ on Dis-cocks, hah!

I emailed Vanilla Records twice over the last couple years and never got a reply. I'm not sure that if someone figures out how to order from them on their messed-up website, they'll have more luck. Curious to see if anyone's managed to order from them.

I think it might still be available to buy directly from Vanilla Records? Along with lots of other Japanoise releases that many would now assume to be unavailable due to lack of distribution. Give vanilla.vis.ne.jp/vanilla-records.html a visit - and if you get a bunch of source code (like it is doing for me), try accessing the link through Google cache.

The only noise I tend to buy now are VHS releases weirdly enough - last thing I got was Cold Comfort's "Betafever" on Worthless Recordings who also released the excellent "Videodrome" VHS compilation in 2012.

Last year around this time I bought a huge batch of classic VHS tapes from a seller on Discogs - releases from Aube, John Duncan, Schimpfluch-Gruppe, Big City Orchestra, C.C.C.C, Mayuko Hino etc... even now I'm still working my way through a lot of them!

Thanks, I'll looke into it. I have cursed many times that there are many japanoise vhs's which seem to be completely out of print and never seen re-releases on dvd, bands like aube, c.c.c.c and others.
