"melancholic" noise/PE

slightly off topic but really doomladen dirty industrial techno/grabber, such as I was hearing at squat parties where all the bad drugs went to die and people just couldn't stop.
first saw men behind the sun at this type of event as background visuals

Any examples of that style of gabber/techno?

Yesterday got a taste of new POGROM when project played live in Finland. For many years we had talk with mastermind of Pogrom about necessity to sometimes do industrial-noise with vocals that are sung - as opposed to merely shouted & screamed. Now Pogrom has actually done it and result was very nice. There was melancholy of distorted keyboard melodies or piano loops, and semi-melodic, yet rough vocal delivery. Worked very well. Ability to make both, full-on harshness and bleak and melodic - without being really "music" per se, was great.
Therefore, high expectations for the next release!

I really wish someone recorded the PGRM set because for me it had the stand-out track of the whole weekend (then again, XE will always be unmatched). It was the one with melancholic distorted keyboard melodies and sung vocals. Might've been the third track of the set? Worked so great and the language fits perfectly as well.

Speaking of Pogrom - I'd also like to mention Budrus in this context. Canine Visions IX is one of my favourites from the last couple years. And the track on new Epicurean Escapism comp. is great too.
