Diving into some earlier Prurient today with the Entrepreneur tape. What immediately strikes me is the overt presence of teenage amateurism and reckless abandon at play. Sounds are not really polished, nor terribly thought out. A-Side even features a crazy drum solo/death metal yelping portion. It is almost playful, as compared to what the project would become known for. Still, there are signs of early brilliance that would later come from Dom. Anyone give this era much attention (ca. 1999-2000)? What are your thoughts?
