-Try to stay away from useless oneliners and blatant time consumption. There is facebook and other social media to post mere links, "thanks dude" -comments and click thumbs up. If all you got to say to some topic would be something you wouldn't want to read, then don't regurgitate such posts here.
Moderators get plenty of reports from useless messages. It's not the end of world, but neither sign of reporter being nitpicky. As said, whole social media is falling into utmost nonsense. There ain't many actual forums where you could discuss matters we discuss here or share information. When it transforms into same level of "I just downloaded torrent", "great dude" -casual chatting, there is zero reason for anyone new to join forum for relevant information or open topic in search of added relevant discussion. It will become chatroom of couple dudes.
This doesn't mean each message needs to be lengthy piece of text. Not at all. I trust people have fairly good judgement of when they are saying things someone could be interested and when they are just wasting everybodys time. Just decide not to waste everybodys time and that's fine.
So, shortly: Of course, it's not offense to get you kicked out. Those guys who do it, most likely recognize themselves and can improve. It is not big request to rise up from lowest standards of current online behavior.
